A return to the excellent Holiday Inn hotel in Arras gives us the chance to visit some of the more northern areas of France.
Starting from just outside Calais the route quickly takes you into some great countryside that I bet you didn’t know existed so close to the port. Within a few minutes you will be enjoying the Nord Pas de Calais farmlands where we will guide you through the maze of tree lined roads to our excellent hotel, which is on the outskirts of Arras surrounded by bars and restaurants or a short trip will take you into the splendid mediaeval centre which is well worth a visit.
The Sunday runs you around the Marais d’Opale with visits to the heart of the Somme battlefields. This area still retains beautiful countryside despite its history and the small towns and villages will offer you a warm welcome on our coffee halts.
The prize giving dinner at the hotel on Sunday includes finisher’s awards for all and after a good day of driving we have time to celebrate in the smart hotel bar.
