The now infamous end of season Beaujolais Rally which is based at the very smart Hermitage Hotel in Montreuil provides not only a great weekend of sport but also two night’s dinner and a party and disco well into the small hours.
A route through the fields of the
Val d’Authie on Saturday and Sunday explores the charming villages of this undiscovered area. With a good mix of breathtaking views and the added bonus of the darker evenings, this becomes a great way to wind up the year with some spirited driving through the lanes and woodlands as the sun sets on the horizon.
